Couldn’t resist this with the price drop to $200! From start to finish and extremely smooth transaction. Received payment confirmation and all tracking info reliably.

Unit was received well packaged and with everything needed for the install. Side note - it comes with the “keys” you need to pop out the Audi head unit, no need to purchase separately.

Both the printed on online instructions do an adequate job of walking you through the install but I still found myself googling to fill in some gaps but nothing major.

All the connections and wiring harnesses are top notch and provide good solid connections to the OEM components.

Hardest part of the install on working the wiring through the glove box openings etc but nothing too crazy. Also, at first it seemed like the 8.9” was too big to fit into the OEM opening but it just took a bit of finesse and it slotted in without any trimming etc.

Set up was a LITTLE tricky with establishing the connection to my Audi’s Bluetooth system and the CarPlay through the unit. Had to to a soft reset on the Audi MMI for the OEM Bluetooth to “re- recognize” my iPhone to complete audio playback.

Test out the phone and using the Oem Bluetooth option - no echos etc.

100% would recommend.

Pro: Installation guide on yt is nice. Worked directly on Audi A3 2016 with an AMI connector between the seats.

It’s a very nice kit for getting CarPlay etc. Altough I received the wrong plastic trim for my model, I emailed roadtop and they sent me a new kit!

Excellent step by step instructions. Nice performance. Removing the hazard light button does trigger faults for parking brake and air bag, so be prepared to clear the codes.
